SATLeC 'South Asian Theological Lecture Circuit'
is a program of the Mylapore Institute for Indigenous Studies to promote contextual theological reflection among established and upcoming scholars by inviting international scholars of repute to address audiences within South Asia on matters that are current and relevant to the church and its mission in the region.
Through the actual lectures and possible publication of these lectures we hope to inculcate an appreciation for and desire to engage in contextual theological reflection among scholars. Not only do we promote an inter-institutional co-operation when we conduct these lectures but we also seek to expose students and teachers to a wide range of issues and subjects that are pertinent to life and mission in that region.
